What I’m Looking For
I’m actively searching for one business to acquire and operate. Here’s what I am focused on:
Financials
I’m targeting businesses with $550K+ EBITDA with EBITDA margins over 15%, indicating a healthy, well-run operation. I’m open to both SBA loan financing and seller financing, ideally with the seller carrying 10-20% of the deal.
Business Type
I’m not interested in restaurants, retail or B2C businesses. I’m drawn to companies that make something, maintain something or deliver a reliable and necessary service to other businesses – with recurring or repeat revenue with no single contract dependency.
Size and Stability
Ideally the business has 10 or more employees with an operational history of at least 20 years. Longevity signals customer trust.
Customer & Revenue Quality
No single customer should account for more than 20% of revenue. I’m looking for diversified, stable revenue streams. I’m not interested in turnarounds or distressed situations; I want a business that is already performing well.
Management & Operations
I would prefer if management teams or key staff are already in place. I want a business where relationships, systems, and institutional knowledge are embedded in the organization not just in the owner.
Geography & Transition
I am willing to relocate. And I expect a 90 day transition period with the seller to ensure a smooth handover to the new ownership.
If you are a business owner, advisor, broker, or banker with a client who fits this criteria, I am easy to reach and quick to respond.
